NADINE OSBORNE EDENS

Nadine Osborne Edens, age 71, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Velma Esther Adams Harris Roach and Marion McFadden Harris. Mrs. Edens was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include 3 sons: James Osborne, Jr. (Susan) of Easley, Fred Osborne (Cheryl) and Bobby Osborne both of Anderson; 2 daughters: Lisa Osborne of Anderson and Melanie Bearden (Andrew) of Fountain Inn, SC; 3 brothers: Evert M. Harris of Florida, Charles A. Harris of Naperville, IL, and Fred M. Harris of Duncan, SC; 6 sisters: Elizabeth (Betty) Gilbert of Portsmouth, VA, Lorena Harris of Starr, SC, Emily Juanita Eller and Esther Harris Roach of Indian Trail, NC, Elta McGee of Anderson and Annie Sylvene Harris of Riverside, CA. Mrs. Edens is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Rebecca, Brandon, Carrie and Joseph Osborne; Maegan McClure and Will Bearden. She was predeceased by a brother, Bobby Harris.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 3 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Jonathan McGary officiating. The family will be at their respective residences, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home Saturday from 1 PM until 2:30 PM.
