JACKIE HANKS

JANUARY 17, 1962 – FEBRUARY 16, 2012
ANDERSON, SC - Jackie “Jack” Norton Allen Hanks, age 50, husband of Elizabeth Dawn Bleckley Hanks, of 200 Miracle Mile Drive, Anderson Village, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 16, 2012.
Born in Anderson, on January 17, 1962, he was the son of the late Charlie A. Hanks and Johnnie Merle Smith Hanks. He was a graduate of Pendleton High School. He was the maintenance supervisor at Anderson Village for seven years; he also worked for Low-Ray for several years.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step daughter, Brittanie Elmore of Anderson, SC., and a special friend, David McAlister.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Tammy Hanks.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 24, 2012, at 11:00 am at the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
