JULIA P. COX

BELTON- Julia Pressley Cox, 93, wife of the late Frank Bowlan Cox, went home to be with her Lord, January 12, 2012 at NHC of Anderson.

She was the daughter of the late Rev. Felix H. and Lillian Knight Pressley. She was a member of Lakeside Wesleyan Church and a former member of Union Grove United Methodist Church. She had a loving spirit to everyone who met her.

She is survived by her four children, Terry Cox and his wife, Helen of Belton,  Wallace Cox and his wife, Bessie of Anderson, Jimmy Cox and his wife, Jeanne of Belton and Ranny Cox and his wife, Lynn of Anderson, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Authur Earle Pressley, sisters, Van Smith and Ruth Rampey all of Greenville. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Judy Cox, brothers, Charles Pressley, Levi Pressley, Corell Pressley and sisters, Juanita Hill, Inez Mauldin, and Cornelia Padgett.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, with Revs. William French and Howard Addis officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Belton. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday. The family is at their respective homes.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Union Grove UMC Building Fund, 3332 Hwy 29 North, Belton ,SC 29627.
