ANDERSON – Dorothy Irene Couch Sanders, 90, of Anderson, wife of Myles Marvin Sanders, died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born April 24, 1920 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Myrtle Guice Couch. She was a former textile employee, a homemaker, and a member of Temple Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Myles Marvin Sanders; special friends, John and Earline Grey, Shannon and Neal Junkins, and Holley, Zane, and Zoey Junkins, all of Anderson; niece, Lorraine Parris and her husband, Frank of Anderson; five great nieces and nephews; ten great-great nieces and nephews; and four great-great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Downtown Chapel, conducted by Rev. Gordon Taylor. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, 401 North Main Street, Anderson. The family is at the residence.
