ANDERSON – William Fred “Mac” McGregor, Jr., 77, of Anderson, died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at AnMed Health Medical Center. 
Born June 15, 1933 in Anderson, he was the son of the late William Fred and Tommie Campbell McGregor. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a 1958 graduate of Clemson University. Mr. McGregor was a retired business owner, and had previously served on the Salvation Army Board. He was a member of the Anderson Rotary Club and was a member of First Baptist Church, Anderson, for over 60 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Tinsley McGregor; son, Tom McGregor and wife, Patsy of Anderson; three grandchildren, Abby, Will, and Jack McGregor; sister, Barbara Moules of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Old Silver Brook Cemetery conducted by Dr. James R. Thomason. The family is at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Patsy McGregor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 307 South Manning Street, Anderson, SC 29624 or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
