PENDLETON, SC – Lois Evelyn Sokoloski, age 86, of 422 South Elm Street, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010.
Born in Central, SC, on September 10, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Berry Gossett & Leva Case Gossett. She retired from Pratt Reed in Central, SC, and was a member of Faith Fellowship in Pendleton – where she loved serving God. As an avid gardener, she loved all flowers.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Morris and husband, Phillip of Alvin, TX; and her brother, John H. Gossett of Greenville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband in 1966, Stanley Edward Sokoloski; and a daughter in 2002, Elaine Sokoloski.
The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Richard Gallagher. Interment will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service.
