SEPTEMBER 24, 1910 – MARCH 6, 2010

CLINTON, SC – Wade Ferguson Dansby, age 99, resident of the Presbyterian Home, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010.

Born in Rockmart, GA, on September 24, 1910, he was the son of the late George Dansby and Grace Elliott Dansby.  He was a retired sales manager and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Anderson.

Survivors include his wife of seventy-five years, Mildred Taylor Dansby; a daughter, Joy D. Aldret of Anderson, SC; a son, Wade F. Dansby and wife, Surada of Chapel Hill, NC; sister, Joy D. Watkins and husband, Homer; grandchildren: John Aldret, Jr., and wife, Janice; Angie A. Bruhjell and husband, Gary; Wade Dansby, III; Taylor Dansby and wife, Gina; and William Dansby; great grandchildren: Erik Bruhjell & Isla Grace Dansby.

He was predeceased by his parents and son-in-law, John Aldret.

A Private Family Committal Service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Dr. Dennis R. Tedder will conduct the service.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 302 West Whitner Street, Anderson, SC 29624, or to the Presbyterian Home of Clinton, 801 Musgrove Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
