EDNA TRIBBLE WRIGHT
ANDERSON – Edna Tribble Wright, 83, of 306 Rhodehaven Drive, widow of Oswald C. “Bud” Wright, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born December 10, 1926 in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Mitt and Ruth Sullivan Tribble. She was a homemaker and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne W. Whitten and Susan K. Wright, both of Anderson; two grandsons, Mark D. Whitten and Chad W. Whitten, both of Anderson; two brothers, Glenn Tribble of Pendleton and Jack Tribble of Townville; one sister, Nancy Tribble Ledford of Townville; nieces, Becky Rogers, Glynette Williams, and Lynette Toney; and nephews, Ricky Tribble, John Tribble, and Andy Tribble.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David J. Tribble, and nephews, Lamar and Randy Ledford.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at New Prospect Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Tony Smith. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Monday at the church. The family is at the residence.
