IVA, SC - Mary Elizabeth Wadosky McMahan, age 63, of Iva, wife of the late Edwin Wilson McMahan, died Mon. Sept. 27, 2010 at her residence.
Born in Bethesda, MD on April 10, 1947, she was the co-chairperson with Lane Hozey, at the Iva Alcoholics Anonymous for over two decades. She was a member of Trinity Bible Church in Iva.
She was predeceased by her husband; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Smith Wadosky McDaniel; and step-father, Steve Wadosky.
Survivors include her son, Stephen Wilson Hunt of Maryland; brother, Steve Wadosky, Jr., (Krystal); sisters, Kitty Karrol Bruens (Roy) all of Wildwood, FL, Frances Selby (Ray) of Bluemont, VA; aunt, Anna Byrd of Palmyra, VA; niece, Linda Keown of Anderson; cousins, Patricia Harrison, Barbara Ropka and Linda Swinford.
The family will receive friends at Trinity Bible Church on Wed., Oct., 6, 2010, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with the funeral following at 11:00 am, conducted by the Rev. Thomas Smith and Rev. Paul Young. Interment will follow in Iva City Cemetery.
