WILLIAMSTON, SC – Donald Shevey, age 76, of 525 Pine Trail Road, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2010.
Born in Wauwatosa, WI, on September 3, 1934, he was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict having served from 1952 until 1956. He was Catholic and retired from Anderson Auto Salvage.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara “Joette” Spires Shevey, of the home; sons: David M. Shevey and Stephen D. Shevey, both of Green Bay, WI, and Allen M. Shevey and wife, Lisa, of Williamston; and five grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will be held in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family is at the home and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home from 6:30pm until 8pm on Monday.
