BELTON – Thelma Louise Drake Rudder, 77, widow of Truman C. Rudder, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.

Born in Dolomite, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Willie Thomas and Trannie  Drake. She was a devoted mother and homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Lou Ann Knott of Anderson, Gail Mills of Belton, Glen Rudder of Graniteville, Sherri Rudder of Aiken, Chuck Rudder of Anderson, and Vera Allman of Belton; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Olivia Grace Motes. 

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Tony Smith. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Thursday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson. The family is at the home of her daughter, Gail Mills, 226 Rushton Road, Belton.
