ANDERSON – Evelyn Campbell Bolt, 100, formerly of Anderson, widow of Grady F. Bolt, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born June 21, 1909 in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late John D. and Pallie Gerrard Campbell. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Anderson and the Elise Padgett Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her son, Donald F. Bolt and wife, Marietta of Greenville; three granddaughters, Melanie Pouch and husband, Will, Tammy Watson and husband, Jim, and Paige Armstrong and husband, Michael, all of Greenville; eight great grandchildren, William Pouch and wife, Grace, Marian Pouch, Amanda Pouch, Montgomery Cornelson, Campbell Cornelson, Henry Cornelson, Mary Martin Armstrong, and Tiernan Armstrong; and one sister, Fleeta Drake of Anderson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan-King Mortuary, Northeast Chapel, conducted by Dr. James R. Thomason. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81, Anderson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 307 South Manning Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
