SEPTEMBER 14, 1919 – NOVEMBER 20, 2009
 
Anderson, SC- Mrs. Martha Olivia Fowler Kelly, age 90, wife of the late James Edward Kelly, Sr., resident of Ellenburg Nursing Center, formerly of 208 Ligon Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Rainey Hospice House.
 
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Thackston Bayliss Fowler and Malinda Taylor Fowler. She was a homemaker and attended Wellington Pentecostal Holiness Church.
 
Survivors include her sons, William “Bo” Alvin Kelly, James E. Kelly, Jr., and Marion “Buddy” Cecil Kelly of Anderson; a daughter, Linda Ann Bailey of Anderson; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Gail Kelly; granddaughter, Amy Michelle Kelly; great-granddaughter, Kelli Chantel Bailey; five brothers and two sisters.
 
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 23, 2009 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Bobby Smith. Interment will follow in New Silver Brook Cemetery.
 
The family will be at the home of her daughter, 208 Ligon Drive, and will receive friends from 5pm-7pm on Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Ellenburg Nursing Center and Rainey Hospice House for their devoted care and concern during Mother’s declining health. Flowers are optional.
